From the Reno Evening Gazette August 15, 1910, p. 1
Vacation days are over and today from all parts of the state, and from many points in California, students are arriving to register in the University of Nevada. Every train arriving in this city drops off a few students and now the college campus which last week was deserted is a scene of activity, as these students rush back and forth making arrangements for the opening of the school term.
Today re-examinations are being taken and many are registering but those who do not get here, today will be allowed to register on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday classes will be heard.
The faculty members state that there are many strangers on the campus this year and that they believe the attendance will be much larger this year than last.
